Music Classes
BEGINNer
Music Classes are for students with no experience in a violin and cello. Within a group setting, students will learn how to use play , practice, and care for their instruments. Students are not required to know how to read music before participating in a music class. Instruments are not included.
Music Classes prepare during the year for one concert in spring.

Training Orchestra
BEGINNING ADVANCED TO INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Training Orchestra is for students who have had two or more years of training on an instrument and can read music. The Training Orchestra plays beginning through intermediate orchestral literature. Youth Symphony members are also encouraged to play with and mentor the Training Orchestra students.
Each year Training Orchestra prepares two concerts in fall and spring. There are also a number of optional Community Concerts and outreach performances throughout the season.

INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED LEVEL
Youth Symphony is for students at an intermediate to advanced level and who can sight read at an intermediate to advanced level. For students who are proficient on their instruments, Youth Symphony provides the opportunity to play more advanced orchestral repertoire and string literature.
Each year Youth Symphony prepares two concerts (in fall and spring). There are also a number of optional Community Concerts and outreach performances throughout the season.
